First post from my new phone (and in a long time).

After awhile, we decide to keep more and more things to ourselves and when it comes to times like these (i.e. staring at the keyboard and blinking cursor), blogging seems.. redundant. We have all the thought processes in our heads, all the weight in our hearts, all the waves of emotions, but sometimes, putting them into words just wouldn’t suffice. They wouldn’t be expressed/interpretated as accurately as we’d want them to be, so we’d rather keep them to ourselves.

Anyhow, just to complete this post I’ve already started on, here’re some of my recent thoughts and events:

• 21st birthdays
• Birthday wishlist (!!!)
• I wanna watch Wicked so bad..
• Bangkok trip
• Hong Kong/Taiwan trip
• How to possibly have enough funds for all of the above………….
• Exams
• Internship applications

And on top of all these, I’m really hoping that 2012 will be a good year for everyone including myself.. and so far, I’m happy. :)

Guilty of a month of negligence. Gna conveniently blame it on my iPhone 3G (nope, not even a 3GS). It makes it impossible to do anything at all nowadays. Loading an app/webpage can take forever and sometimes, it doesn’t even load after the long wait and crashes like a kid throwing in the towel with just 1 step away in a math question. And how could I not mention the home button. Bitch of the century! Makes switching between apps a pain in the ass, which is why I end up using only basic phone functions + Safari. No idea how long I’ve been whining about this device but in a month my hands will be all over my new Android baby. Hi, my name is Sharon and I’m a convert. :)

After years of pestering we finally did this DIY icing over a premade cake. Bonus: without me expecting it. People beside us were spamming their icing like crazy, probably to not waste the money they’ve already spent on it. We were just happily decorating with little details and thinking of cheesy and draw-able stuff to fill up empty spaces. I loooovvveee the end product! I got a princess crown over my head and he turned out looking like Batman’s sidekick, Robin. The chocolate fondue over the fruits turned out looking like a spider on first look (according to Lynn hahaha). Couldn’t bear to cut it for the next 2 days and when I finally did, tasted love in every bite. :)

The other cake was from my brother. I guess after much inspiration from Master Chef he decided to own the kitchen with this one. His very first time baking and it’s a cake for meeeeee! It was supposed to be a 4-tiered chocolate cake but he kinda explained to me that it all combined into 1 tier hahaha. Looking pretty eh? The insides tasted like a non-bake mousse cake though. But credits to the awesome meringue! He separately made a few more lumps of meringue shaped like whirls of faeces. Everyone’s trying to fatten me up it seems. Hur hur.

I can no longer tuck my fringe behind my ears. :(

Inactive blogging due to access to intranet and intranet alone at where I work. Even mobile Twitter lags on me for >3 minutes everytime I load it. Facebook: >5 mins. So I guess if there’s anything at all, drop me an email.

I have made it a point to make September the best month of the year - No work but instead activities lined up to burst my pockets with no regrets, attempt a very amateur cover, take time to re-revel in my top-raved show Prison Break, hopefully bring in more supplies for my blogshop, and learn how to use my camera for good. Then it’s back to school at the end of the month. Well, if all fails and September sucks more than anything, there’s still chance that December will end off 2011 nicely with a getaway.

Honestly, I’d rather be schooling than working. With no income at all, at least I live my days more freely, with only studies to worry about. Still, I shouldn’t speak this soon eh. Results in a week which would determine my duration and field of study. Again, if all fails, at least I know I have something to fall back on. Something boiling with my uni clique HAHA. Will post pictures to fill up this blog soon. ;)

Time’s flying fast. Seems like May was just yesterday.

Last Friday night: a weird combination of Lynn’s friends, mahjong, pizza, circle of death and wicked mixtures of drinks. Turned out to be the most entertaining friday in a long time, kudos to Lynn’s drunkardness (and hence videos for keeps). A little more of such fridays wouldn’t harm. ;)

Music and rough papers got me through my first week at work, or should I say ‘work’. Music to keep me awake and entertained, and rough papers to fill my empty table and make me look seemingly busy, when in fact I was almost as free as I was unemployed, only that I am now confined within the office premises. So I guess if it stays this way, I’ll be paid for my presence (and presence alone). So yea, I am probably the most undeserving to call TGIF. Ha ha.
